Choreographic Taxonomy for Real-Time Avatar Puppeteering
Three part project involving 3D scanning, motion capture, and experimental choreography. Research and results in an attempt to create a new form of hybrid physical/digital performance and a language for choreography that is physically impossible.
The video show the pipeline for live control of an avatar of based off of 3D scans of my body using motion capture technology and then a series of videos showing possible choreographic structures for digital spaces.

Custom slit-scan based audio/visual sampler developed for ITP's New Interfaces in Musical Expression class. Performance premiere at The Bellhouse in Brooklyn NY on Dec 16 2015.
Technologically assisted dance performance. Called "A truly contemporary dance performance" by Hyperallergic, the piece uses glitch theory as a basis for generating movement and physical scores. Premiered at AUNTS Chain Curation in May 2013. The piece has also been shown at Dixon Place and The Center for Performance Research.
