LIPP TV is a proof of concept variety tv show built for the streaming age.
LIPP TV was created in collaboration with students at ITP enrolled in Live Image Processing and Performance (LIPP) in 2020 and 2021. This collaborative TV show was created by the students as way to showcase their final projects during the pandemic. Season 1 was streamed on Twitch in 2020 and Season 2 was streamed on Twitch in 2021.
LIPP TV included:
- A host (Professor LIPP) using live avatar control and facial puppeting
-Interviews w/ guests using zoom and a custom tv head avatar
-3,000 unique viewers, 200 average concurrent viewers over a 3 ½ hour show.
- 28 student works of live and pre-recorded content
- A custom website with the twitch stream embedded
- A team of 20 coders, performers, designers, back stage managers, and more.
